Tegwen is a screech owl who shares her tree hollow with a bee hive. She would watch the bees going from flower to flower and figured they too loved her purple flowers. She would listen to them sing their working songs and let it lull her to sleep in the day. One day she took a short flight over to the far side of the forest to visit family and when she returned she realized the bees had made a hive above her head and along the side of her tree hollow, right next to her nest. Not wanting to be rude, she was very sad, and slept all the next day in the rain on the branch outside her old hollow. The next evening she awoke to a single purple flower sitting on her nest inside the tree, and three honey bees sitting on the rim, buzzing lightly at her and hopping slowely in as if inviting her inside. Delighted, she hopped right in and cooed to the bees her appreciation. They now live quite happily together - she loves their humming and the golden yellow color of their honey, they love her sweetness and her purple flowers.
