I don't recall much of my mortal life, as it has been centuries ago. When you've lived as long as one like I, such things fade from memory. I remember I was once a non-magical Jollin with my beautiful spots. Back then I was, and still am, a miko... what you would say a shrine maiden or 'priestess'. I became highly skilled in divining to see the future, driving out evil spirits, and performing the sacred kagura dance. My sacred tools to connect with spirits or kami are delicate chiming bells, deep booming drums, elaborately crafted masks or even simply bowls of white rice. Myself and the fellow miko at the shrine provided the connection between the spirit world with the living world, all to serve the people of the village. I was devote to nothing else but my duties as a miko... and my family. {Under heavy construction.}

Thank you Sheru

Rebirth

that I sacrificed my own life for to protect... unknowing I was going to die. {fill in here} I had dove into save him and had succeeded, but the water took me instead. I fought against the current as hard as I could will myself, but slowly I felt my lungs give out painfully and the murky light began to fade. Only the sounds of my last breaths bubbling away from me were left as I fell into the darkness. I had drowned to death...

Thank you Shii

Inari comes from the Japanese kami (spirit) of foxes, fertility, rice, tea and sake. Inari was also the patron of swordsmiths and merchants.
