How it began

She felt cold as cold as night, though the morning had already come. Her scales dull and eyes almost milked she knew something was wrong.

She was dying.

“Oh you poor thing” the creature outside her bowl said. And then the unthinkable happened. A small net caught her up and away she flew.

The creature tossed her into the porcelain grave full of cold stinking water that stung her already frail skin and ate at her once beautiful fins. “Rest in peace” the foul thing said as a great whooshing started around her.

Down, down, down she went sucked to the stink and vile of the sewer.

This was to be her new home? What of her bowl? Her little cozy house and plant she had named Gover? All gone sucked away left behind. Captives of the thing that threw her still breathing body away.

But something else had happened as well her body worked again. She could swim, She would see. Her scales had turned green as if rot had taken her but they worked! She couldn’t believe. In death she had found a second life! Now if only she could satisfy this new craving! Brains she had to have them all of them. She especially wanted that creatures brains her revenge for what it had done then maybe then she could rest.
