WHAT is Quentin?!
If Ian were to hear you ask that question, boy, would you be in trouble (he is quite protective of Quentin's privacy, if you didn't know.)
Well, let's start with the basics.
Quentin lives in Shadowglen.
Real spooky place. Zombies and pumpkins and all that. It's basically Halloween there like every day of the year.
Anyway.
What we do know about Quentin is that they are most likely a decedent of the Ji-Meneb peoples. Green eyes, pointed ears, long horns: all tell-tail signs of being Ji-Meneb.
These peoples originated from The Darkside, so why does Quentin live in Shadowglen? Well, the Ji-Meneb, for the most part, have up and left The Darkside due to its inhospitable climate. Do you like toxic fumes? Yeah, neither do the Ji-Meneb. Quentin also seems to have a great liking for all things strange, oozing, or partially dead, so it's no wonder they have come to call Shadowglen home.
Another thing we know about Quentin is that they have a pet Common Experiment #84 named Spooky.
What else do we know about Quentin?
Not much. No one knows what Quentin does with the items we bring them. And we don't know where Quentin gets the items we receive in return. Really, the only other information we have about Quentin is that they are good friends with Ian Asmodeous. The two seem to have a sibling-like relationship, Ian taking on the roll of the bigger brother who is protective of Quentin's wish for privacy.
Considering just how many people visit this popular quest-giver daily, it really is amazing how Quentin has been able to keep so much about themselves private for so long. Why is Quentin collecting such unusual items? How does Ian know Quentin?
We may never know.
