Full Screen Mode Activate!

"My name is Full Screen Mode! But you can call me FSM.
No one likes to say my full name..."

Full Screen Mode, or FSM as the scientist who created him tends to call him, is a large robotic insect resembling a bee that doubles as a security system. His eyes are quite large for his body and contain video cameras that observe almost every speck of detail displayed to the scientist in his office. The quality isn't 100% smooth but with how slow FSM seems to fly, it's not too hard to make out the details of what's being perceived. His long antenna help him transmit said picture from quite the distance, an approximate four football fields away though the scientist is always trying to improve on this by upgrading FSM to the highest quality gear he can find. His wings are made of old and tattered windsail but are quite small in comparison to the bulbous body. Despite this he seems to get quite the height when flying, approximately one football field according to his creator. After that the poor mechanical being will plummet to the ground. His little legs contain smaller "hand" like appendages that allow him to pick small objects up. He then stores said items inside a compartment in his chest so that he may deliver the findings to the scientist when he returns. Finally, there is the key like protrusion from the backside of the mechanical that acts as the "energy source" of FSM. This key can be wound several times to give FSM many hours of runtime so that he can do his task and get home safely. There has been an occasion or two that he has run out of energy and had to be retrieved by other mechanical creatures that share the same creator as he. One of these is Klaymen, who he met after losing power by a toxic site known as the "Containment Zone". FSM had not wandered inside the perimeter but had been scanning along the outside to find anything of use. He came across a bit of neon green glowing sludge and before he knew it he had lost all power and shut down. Klaymen had been dispatched to assist in retrieving him. The wolf mechanical accidently stepped in the sludge while trying to move FSM to a safer spot and his metal foot was warped into a nearly unusable state. Klaymen continued his job and managed to turn the key and get FSM going again. The mechanical bee was ever grateful for the assistance and even though Klay was much too large for his small appendages, he still managed to lift the his mechanical brother in the air and take them home.
It was then FSM noticed how different their creator treated them. He was immediately taken in for repairs and fussed over, the scientist telling him he was quite important and to not bumble into such danger again! Klaymen sat awkwardly by his station, waiting for help that never did come. The scientist just left him there without a single thought. It was NV that came to Klay's aid instead, having found some scrap parts that he could use to rebuild the twisted foot. FSM also noticed how shiny he and NV were as they were often cleaned and well cared for. Klay had quite a bit of rust and his joints sounded creaky and old. FSM promised the mechanical that had helped him that he would try to convince their creator to treat him better. Klay simply told him his time would be wasted but the bee was determined. Every day after that FSM would follow Klay and observe him in the field, even though he had an entirely different task he was supposed to be doing. The scientist would scold him but no action was taken against him. Multiple times Klaymen received some type of injury and the scientist would just gloss over him as if he were nothing, only wanting what the mechanical being had retrieved...
FSM soon gave up trying to convince their creator of Klay's worth, especially after the wolf disappeared. NV suspects he had finally been scrapped after all this time as there was schematics on the scientist's desk for a new prototype that looked similar to Klay. There was nothing that could be done now. FSM swore he wouldn't give up on his friend, even if the scientist ended up escorting him to the scrapyard for it.

Mandark
The scientist that crafted every mechanical that roams his domain. He will tell anyone who will listen that he doesn't have favorites but actions speak louder than words. He created FSM on a whim and truly needed a good security system that would patrol the area and find nice little items he could use in his creations. FSM is probably his second favorite mechanical creature, just below NV, as he treats that particular one like royalty. Maybe even like a god. FSM seems to have an okay relationship with him but doesn't quite like how he treats some of his fellow mechanical family. Especially after meeting Klaymen and learning that the scientist definitely didn't practice what he preached. FSM attempted to get Mandark to pay more attention to Klay in attempts to get him the upgrades the wolf needed but he worries it ended up doing more harm as Klay has since gone missing. Mandark does not seem interested in finding him either. Why would he? he's got NV after all! FSM too. Didn't need much more than that.

NV
One of the higher classes of mechanicals that roam the scientist's domain. NV is the absolute favorite and it shows. If there's a problem with this particular mechanical then everything will be dropped and all focus goes to him. NV doesn't seem to let this get to his head though, often assisting other creations should they need repairs or touch ups. Compared to the creator, he is compassionate and determined to make life easier for his fellow mechs. FSM has been repaired a time or two by NV and the two are close friends. Sometimes they are sent on tasks together but both believe it's because of the scientist's obsession with keeping NV in tip top shape.

Klaymen
Klaymen is one of the lowest classes of mechanical though is also one of the first made according to the scientist that created them. He is made of all manner of scrap metal parts and it shows as he breaks down more often than not. These days the scientist ignores him until it's time to go out on a particularly dangerous task. If he breaks down while out on this run it takes the scientist quite a while before he sends a retrieval team to grab him. It takes even longer for Klay to receive repairs since only scrap parts are used on him. NV does his best to help but is often times scolded and dragged away by their creator for being near such a "filthy robot". FSM was saved by Klay once and he wouldn't forget it anytime soon. He was also scolded for helping the poor robotic wolf. One day Klay went missing and no mechanical being could find him. The scientist said he had no idea where the blasted rust bucket was and to not ask about him ever again. NV seems to think Klay was taken to a scrapyard but FSM has hopes that he's out there in the world somewhere.
