The Lonely Poolshark

Lonely because I’m alone, or do I really feel that way? I’m in here, my lovely billiards room, by myself and away from the chaos. I don’t mean much harm - only if you get in my way. You can go on without bothering me, you can leave me to my apparent loneliness. I like it here, in the dimness, with only the table and the mirror for company.
That picture on the wall - is that what I used to look like?
I have no memories from before this room, but I suppose that’s for the best.
How did I die?
I don’t need to wonder. I have the table to endlessly circle, the mirror to catch occasional glimpses of what I’ve become. That’s all I need.
