travel the world

Aideen dreamed of travelling the world. She dreamed of sightseeing, of marvelling at the beauty of the world around her. She wondered what it would be like to visit the Arctic Frost- to meet the native Ytivi, maybe to even see a duel. Perhaps she would even see the wild anyus and jollins that everyone spoke of. Or maybe she would go to the Omen Islands, where she could meet real pirates! Or the exotic native Omen Islanders with their strange rituals and markings.

Shengui Guo could be interesting, so few had seen it since the rest of Subeta had only recently gained access. She could see authentic zentu bathing pool! That was something she could really brag to friends about. Or Centropolis, with it’s big city hustle and bustle, it’s riches and high fashion. And, of course, the seedy underbelly where she might be able to meet the infamous Hustler.

There were so many options to explore, and so much culture. Aideen wanted to see it all! She had her suitcase ready to go, she’d studied all of the travel guides she could find, the only thing was... she was scared. No, terrified, really. Could she really leave her comfy home? What if something went wrong? What if she didn’t like the food? Or the locals were rude?

She just... couldn’t take the plunge. Not yet. Someday, though. Someday she would be brave enough and she would explore to her hearts’ content.
