Pissarro had been the guardian of the museum for many years. As the first display in the lobby, he was quite the treasure. At night, when the stream of visitors made their way home and the doors were locked up tight he would leave his lonely post to wander the museum. Though he had made friends in some of the historical exhibits, his favorite place to explore was the art wing. Pissarro was fascinated by all of the pretty paintings, full of scenery he could only dream of. He spent so much time with the paintings that the other inhabitants of the museum started calling him Pissarro after one of his favorite painters.
