A skilled, scornful man, doing what he must to survive the Judgment.

"Savage," as his younger accomplice nicknamed him after the older man refused to share his real name, is a stern, aggressive, gruff-looking individual. He's very stubborn and independent, which leads him to seldom listen to the ideas and tactics of those around him. A self-proclaimed leader, he enjoys barking orders and expressing his displeasure in a situation or individual, but barely speaks otherwise. His words are few and far between as he prefers taking action rather than making small talk. Having spent a good portion of his life pre-apocalypse studying, practising and attempting to master Chinese martial arts and long-ranged weapons, his weapon of choice is a lengthy industrial chain with a padlock fastened to one end. Pretty much a make-shift version of a chain whip, one of the weapons he used to train with. The man feels far more secure with the familiar, rather than learning his way around a gun.

Reluctantly travelling with Ravage, he tends to see the boy as more of a nuisance than a friend. Sav would very much prefer to be off on his own than with the rowdy teen, but having a brother hopefully still out there about the kid's age, he doesn't feel right just leaving him behind either. The two butt heads a lot and argue over little things, but when it comes down to it, they work well together when it matters most. They watch each other's backs and take down the many parasite-ridden creatures around them as a practically unstoppable team. Both Savage and Ravage carry their own weight and that's probably one of the main reasons their partnership has lasted.

Not many simply get to walk away from the brutal duo, but thankfully for both parties involved, Jesse and George managed to beat those odds. Proving to be of use to each other, these two new faces brought medicinal knowledge and the skill needed to catch and bring a decent meal to the table. Sav stumbling on the wandering couple in a time of need, it was their cooperation that first let them part ways without much conflict. Though Rav insisted they remain as a pack, Savage refused. The untrusting man could barely put up with one extra person, let alone three. Months passed though and eventually so did their paths again. The doctor and his ill-tempered assistant facing troubles this time, Sav and Rav decided to pay off their debt by lending aid with their own strengths. The four coming out triumphant in their battle only fueling Rav's want to stay as a group, Sav continued to mock the idea. The offers of thanks and freshly caught food being enough to sway the man for the night, only time will tell if these strangers will eventually find safety or betrayal in numbers.
