Sylaise or Syla Sinthius is the queen of Yespa. She is often called Firebringer, or Queen of Fire. Syla's husband is Karthus and despite the fact that every other kingdom in Kratyr would recognize him as the Yespian monarch, he chose to disregard such a title. Unfortunately because he scorned the throne many think him weak and unworthy of being associated with the crown. This caused unrest within the other kingdoms, most notably Valhalla.
