On the 16th of December 2014, Tori Johnson was killed in the Lindt Cafe at Martin Place, Sydney. A lone gunman took the cafe hostage for 16 hours. Tori Johnson attempted to wrestle the gun from the gunman and ended up getting shot. He was the manager of Lindt Cafe and will be remembered by a memorial made inside the new Martin Place Lindt Cafe which opened 3 months after the siege. RIP Tori Johnson.
