Tucked away and hidden from the world sleeps Katie the cat. Her head is resting on her paws, her paws tucked away inside the glass slipper she's currently taking up residency in. She knows no concept of time and doesn't know what it means to not sleep the day away. She's purring in her sleep, as though enjoying a particularly good dream. Perhaps she is. Perhaps she's dreaming of a large bowl of milk, or finally catching the pesky mice that are much too quick for her still. All Katie does know is that she's comfortably asleep for a while before being awoken by a person with thin hands and a petite frame.

"Katie!" the woman scolds playfully. "You're sleeping in my glass slippers again. Silly cat, wouldn't you be more comfortable on the bed?"

But Katie the cat is too tired to answer. Instead, she purrs a little louder as the woman with blonde hair and a kind smile puts her on her lap, and pets her back to sleep.
