A vicious Kumos looking more hyena-like than canine-like, she makes no attempt to hide her origins in Darkside.

Ashanti is usually silent, preferring to stalk around and stare at those around her rather than converse with most people. Always ready to leap in and fight -- and, if necessary, kill -- she gives off an immensely intimidating aura, which isn't helped by the red stains of old blood that always seems to be present in her fur, reapplied once said fur is replaced. Cold and closed off, it's nearly impossible to befriend her... but that doesn't mean that she's lonely or incapable of feelings. In fact, Ashanti has quite a large capacity for affection: it's simply that the only people she sees as worthy of that affection are her family.

Despite her obvious violent streak, Ashanti doesn't pick fights all that often. It's more trouble than it's worth, after all, to cause problems in the middle of the street... unless it happens that one of her family is in danger. At that point, all bets are off, and whoever caused the problem had better pray to whatever spirit they believe in. As overprotective as she is, even something as simple as menacing and threatening one of her family is enough to ensure that they won't escape without several torn ligaments and broken bones... assuming that they even escape at all.

The thing that Ashanti seems to really care about most is combat; fighting, training, and gathering up weapons. Her room is an outright armory and training area, the only thing that's not weaponry-or-armor-related being the bed in the corner that she rests in. Surprisingly, she prefers her privacy; while she doesn't care if people come and go when nothing is happening, she absolutely refuses to let in anyone -- family or otherwise -- when she's training. During the night or times when everyone is home, Ashanti tends to drink quite a bit, though her drunken state seems to be mostly passive (leading to occasions where her family eggs her on to get her in a more peaceful state).
