Personality: Shani is an over-confident, mischievous, foul-mouthed young adult. Despite her off-putting initial introduction, she can be extremely capable and loyal. She is also fairly good at being discreet when it is needed. During the summer, she is highly sociable, preferring to intermingle with others, but in the winter she grows more sarcastic, rude and antisocial by the day. During the peak of her weak period, she completely secludes herself from society (which is probably the best thing for everyone else).

History: Shani was born in January, during the peak of her weak period. This made her childhood a sickly one. It wasn't until she hit her early teens that she started gaining strength. When she turned sixteen, it was if her body's immune system kicked into overdrive. She rarely gets sick anymore. As an added bonus, her heightened immunity seems to have affected her psionics – she can hold her alternate forms for extended periods of time. Her strength, and her ability, led her to take on a career of intelligence. Though relatively new to the job, she is proving her mettle with increasingly difficult hunts for information.

Psionics: Shani's psychometabolism provides her with an interesting quirk – she has a male persona. Though most of her close acquaintances and friends know about her other form, she tries to keep it from general society knowledge. Her male colours tend to be more muted, though this makes her orange markings more pronounced. She can alter herself in other ways, but she feels most comfortable in her “male” form. She can also force small changes in others, however, they don't last long and it's generally rather uncomfortable for the other party.
