Story Kitchen Credits

Hello! My name is Azaria, and I like to bake. Am I a great baker? No, but I'm decent enough. Would I be able to create my own recipe? Absolutely not. I am the kind of harvester that needs step by step instructions to follow.

Cookies are one of my favorite things to make. I almost always have the ingredients to bake chocolate chip cookies. It took me a number of years, and over a dozen different recipes before I found the perfect one.

I haven't had many failures in the kitchen. There were the oatmeal raisin cookies that had too many oats in them. There was a cake that I accidentally decorated with spoiled frosting. Then, there was the cinnamon roll incident.

I love cinnamon rolls, so I thought homemade ones would be great. I was wrong. It was not worth the time or the frustration. They were edible, but they weren't as good as the ready-to-bake store bought ones. The whole ordeal left me feeling defeated, so I vowed I would never make them again. And I haven't.

To end on a happier note, the first chocolate cake I made from scratch was great! I only make it once a year, and it takes quite a bit of time, but it is definitely worth it in the end.
