"Mimak, gimme a vial".
It kind of started that way. Hazz, a strange product on his own,, a scientific combination of pet, bottles and a potion, felt more at home surrounded by others created just like him. Screw all those pets and minions, who avoided him naturally, who were either scared of him or just felt right away he was the odd one out, and there were probably a few loose screws in his head.Hazz, for that reason, used to be alone.
As a kid, he used to be scare himself, and most of all miserable he was alone and bullied.
But those days were over.

"Another bottle, this one exploded".

The end result was a big pile of ash. But perhaps he could even use that. Hazz felt weird to throw away products, even if they weren't the result he wanted. Even if it could screw up the next experiment.
Mimak, his one and only true pet and friend, just looked with adoration at how Hazz swept the ash aside, to perserve for a later experiment. The next bottles and vial he grabbed was just as random as the last.

While Hazz was a fully educated scientist, he always grabbed things on a hunch and good luck. Sometimes it exploded, sometimes he got result.
An empty shell, maybe that he could use. He threw it with the rest in the vial, and put it away, hoping it would do something in time.The next bottle.

The herd of minions had gotten bigger, and while most were throwing a tantrum, or tried to escape (Hazz was too lacked, and had the window open for any minion that wanted to escape).

Maybe the bottle with a Hippotu? Who used to be so cruel to bottle him anyway? While the pet was probably already dead, Hazz was a scientist and alchemist who just didn't care and knew how to bottle life anyway. Maybe his experiments would result in a mass breakout of zombie pets, or the created pets would bite and nible on the first person they met, but Hazz didn't knew anyone anyway, and had only bad experience with natural being anyway. Why would he care?

Next bottle. A bit of celestial combined with some dead juice wuld do the trick. A huge bang echoed through the room the next moment, and the bottle exploded. Did it fail again?
But no, the bottled Hippotu lay on the ground, shaking and covered in slime. While the pet was looking around in shock, Hazz grabbed a bit of slime for another experiment. Maybe it would do something.
When the pet saw Hazz, he looked first scared, then happy, as if he wanted to thank him. Then he noticed there was something odd about the Paralix, and the Hippotu felt like it would be dangerous to aknowledge this strange pet, so he took off with a bit of a run, still scared of what happened, but glad he got out.

Hazz just looked at the pet with a mingling of annoyance and sadness. Even when he just helped a pet, they ignored him. He didn't even got a thanks.
"Well, that was rude".
Mimak spoke, and growled angry. He wished he had reacted in time and bit the stupid pet before it had the change to take off. He turned to his owner, but Hazz was aready occupied with a Fission, one of his earlier creations that liked to nibble on his shoes. Maybe Mimak would sent one of these minions after the Hippotu, just for a good bite. Nothing too serious.

"Can you gimme another vial?".
The next experiment was ready to be made.
