Fluffy, not fuzzy! I didn't like my own fur! Then there was that old man my human took me to meet, and he did something strange to make me--fluffy! I'm a toy, but I'm not a toy. It's strange, really strange. Oh, well. At least no one cares if all a 'toy' wants to do is play cards. Catching Wyllops and rats is for other Felis who like to run around, not for me! At least I don't have muscles to worry about, either. Wow, that's really, really strange...How do I walk without them? Oh, well.
Felis loved their naps, but normally were very energetic outside said naps. She just wasn't, and preferred to sit and play cards all day. At least she had playing partners, since Remeva, Shilaia, and even Sanai sometimes, would play with her.
Then, one day, her human took her to a shop and told her to listen to the shopkeeper so she could get paid. It was a card shop, and she was getting to work with the cards all day! She was SO HAPPY!
Working at the card shop was harder than she'd expected at first, but it was more than worth it when she got promoted and began to actually play games and set up tournaments for card games. There was so much to do! Sure, it wasn't the best pay in the world, but it was enough, more than enough, even, for all the fun she got to have while doing it. She also had more people to play cards with than the three of her...sisters?--(Did toys have siblings?)--she played with at home.
She thought of expanding into other games, too, and while she played them to learn the rules and sometimes just for fun, the card shop took up all her time and energy. She'd never been happier, and thanked her human many times for taking her to the card shop to work.
