Her story of origin varies across regions.In one account, she was the eldest daughter of the sun god (Arao) and the moon goddess (Buan). In another narrative, she was the daughter of the supreme god of being (Bathala) with a mortal woman. Night Zeal waved his hoof to silence the group. “We have much work to do to ensure the glorious return of her majesty, our Mistress of the Night. What is your first command for us?” the older pony said. Nightmare Moon smiled and turned to address the ponies in the cave. “First we must restore the castle I once called home. I am in need of those who can accomplish this. I will send you to nearby Ponyville to acquire those with the skills we need. Of course, do not hesitate to use force to make them obey. They will soon know who now rules this world. Now loyal ponies go!” As she finished her sentence the ponies in the cave began to move, those with wings took to the skies flying from the cave while the few unicorns went on hoof.Night Zeal stayed by Nightmare Moon’s side, watching with her as those in the cave left before turning his attention to her. “You…you look different from before my lady.” He turned his head down. Nightmare Moon frowned but nodded. “Yes. That darkness in my heart has taken a more physical form. I have cast off the shackles of being Princess Luna and am now Nightmare Moon. Does my appearance displease you?”“Of course not, my lady. You are as radiant as ever and I will stand by your side until I die.” He stated, taking a deep bow. Nightmare Moon felt a ping in her heart, and a memory flashed into her mind. She remembered being on the next to her sister on her throne, as Celestria brought a young stallion to her. She remembered how different he was from normal ponies. He was tall, with a dark mane and coat. But what was even more striking was his bat wings, and feathered ears. She had never seen such features on a pony before. Nightmare moon comes to ponyville as first conquest. She goes back to the old castle seeng it in ruins, and begins to reminisce, but quickly shakes herself out of it before going and summoning her own royal guard. Who had been also trapped in slumber. In the caves near the castle.And her minons are going about capturing and destroying the town. Get to the boutique and rarity is rasing hell saying not to take her fashionsNM gets there and is ablout to punish her but sees her fashions and is intqiued and says instead to kidnap rarity.Rarity is taken to the castle and tasked with creating an outfit for NM corination as the new ruler of equestria. She does all she can to get out of it. First saying she doesn’t have the materials and such. The outfit is finished and NM is impressed with her skills. And rarity is asked for another, Rarity begins to enjoy her work.
