I remember how I used to always be scared of the dark. What could be lurking around after the lights turned off. I'd dash towards my bed as fast as possible and hop on it just in case something might reach out from underneath. Though sometimes it wasn't just the unseen things in the darkness that scared me. Black silhouetted figures outlined by the moonlight were just as bad. One that stood out from the stuffed animals or pile of clothes was a catlike figure.It would always be sitting on the window sill, staring at me with silted eyes. I only ever saw this cat at night after the lights were off. It never moved from that one spot, but it's piercing gaze would follow me.
