"She use to love me... What happened? Did I mess up?..."Dinlas was a young Jollin when her owner found her... She was beautiful. her red fur shined under the wonderful sun and moon light. She was envied by all the pets others owned. Alice treated so well. She would be took on walks daily just so she could be shown off. Her brothers and sisters hated how she was so spoiled. What happened to those days?... What happened to the love and envy?... Dinlas couldn't have done anything wrong! She tried so hard to make Alice so proud...She couldn't believe the day it happened to all change...It was on a Sunday. Alice had Dinlas off her leash so she could run and play along with the other pets in the park. One of Dinlas's sisters were laying under a shady tree, her galactic colors glowing in the misty like cover. Dinlas had been running back and forth, chasing a ball along with her friend Lilith an Anyu. She smiled as she finally reached the ball on the opposite side of the road. As Dinlas lowered her head she heard yells and looked up to see Alice running to her. She must have wanted to play! She began to run when Dinlas saw lights. She pulled her ears back as she focused on the lights....Silence struck the park as the screeching of tires filled the air.Dinlas remembered waking up in pain. She couldn't move her front leg. She felt pain raise to her face as she yelped. Dinlas began to shake like a crazed animal, trying to rid herself of the pain. She licked her paw as she tried to clean her face off, thinking it was something stuck on her beautiful fur...She felt nothing but a hard bone against her paw. She looked down to her paw only to see green, blooded fur. "W-what?" She says as her once beautiful brown glowing eyes widen. She got up from the warm ground as she heard people screaming around her.What was wrong? Did something happen. The Jollin looked over to the car which was smashed onto a tree. Dinlas began to panic, where was Alice and her family? She saw her friend Lilith, looking at her with disgust and fear. "Whats wrong?" the worried fox like subeta said trying to approach her friend. The Anyu screamed and ran from the poor Jollin. Alice! She saw her master staring with a stunned look. "D-Dinlas?" Alices worried voice filled the large ears of the monstrous looking pet.A few hours past after Alice returned to Jollin home. She wouldn't look the creatures way nor would she speak. What was wrong? Every time Dinlas tried to rub against her masters leg like she loved, Alice would kick her off. What was wrong? Was it her fur? Dinlas was sure she could clean of the deathly green color from her beautiful fur once the bath was started for her. None of her family would speak to her but her Brother Galin. The clock faced owl. He knew how she felt, him being a genetic mutant. Dinlas finally walked to Alice as she was preparing the bath, looking at herself in the water only seeing a monster looking back. What happened to her! She was a freak! Her fur green and ugly, along with a few rats nest in it. Her face was missing, only to reveal her skull... She only saw herself having one eye that was now a blinded blue. She opened her mouth in fear...What happened? What did that light do to her!? Alice only looked over with a 'Tch' before speaking "Look at yourself you disgrace! You ruined everything! You shattered my pride!" The girl yelled, hitting the Jollin with the back of her hand to back her away. Dinlas run to the doggy door, running out of it to the fenced yard. She began to weep "Its not my fault!" She screamed to the gods. "THE LIGHT DID THIS TO ME!" She weeps loudly, only leading her family of animals to watch. None approached to comfort her except Galin. He took her under his wing allowing her tears to cover his dark matter feathers."She doesn't love me....I messed up...I should have never woke up from that light..."
