Her life lasted only a few days,
but she was a joy in many ways.
People think cats don't have souls,
but for this one it wasn't so.
When she first gained her sight,
she looked at us with such fright.
She thought her mom was just a hand,
but then she saw the size of man!
In her litter there were four,
of fighting spirit, she had more.
Her kitten siblings died too fast,
a sign that things would not last.
Despite her great display of might,
in the end, she lost the fight.
Others may think 'it's just a cat'
but to us, she was more than that.
Rest in peace, Blessing, in heaven above.
I hope you knew that you were well-loved.
