Akubari was just a young pup when he was abandoned by his mother and father, for he did not look like his brothers and sisters. Pink and blue spots covered his coat, big blue eyes that could put a baby to sleep. He was different, and it was hard being accepted when you are different. He wandered the street of a warn down, old, dirty city, looking for food and shelter. He howled at the sky, searching for other signs of life around the mute city, but alas he found none. Days Akubari went without food, a decent drink, or shelter, mud began covering his silky coat, his fur was matted, and his paws hurt from walking. He found an old box left outside a house and he collapsed inside, hoping he could stay warm for just one night.He didn't know how long he had been sleeping for, but when he awoke, he could feel himself swaying side to side, he looked up and there he stared at something he thought he would never see- a human. The human looked down at the pup and smiled, she spoke softly "Don't you worry, we will get you all warm and fed, and bathed too!". For once in his life, Akubari felt safe, he felt calm, and he knew things would be ok.Today, Aku is a full grown wolf, with a wonderful family of his own pups, his spots may mark him, but them make him special in his own way, not an outcast.
