Caleb is a professor at the prestigious Royal Academy and the dean of the Faculty of History. His specialization is the history of Occultism and Witches, he is a popular professor due to his charismatic, enchanting lectures, making it seem as if Caleb was a witness to the events that transpired in the past.

In fact, Caleb wasn't a witness, he was a participant. He was one of the strongest witches of his time. Caleb isn't a "true witch" but a druid - he has water abilities and can control the seas, rain and anything else that is related to water. He was involved in the first Walpurgisnacht and the first Purges. He lived to tell the tale many hundreds of years later. Of course, nobody is allowed to know Caleb's true identity and he has to be secretive about his private life so nobody digs up anything suspicious.

His only true friend is Kwinden, a physics professor from the same university. Strangely enough, the two are close friends and share opinions on many things, often exchanging theories. Kwinden secretly works on a project explaining magic via science and Caleb helps him gather witnesses and evidence, despite engaging with witches or magic in any way being illegal.
