It was all too easy, the heist went off without a hitch. Then again, most heists are easy peasy for Krys when she has every little detail and angle worked out beforehand. Such was the way the nine-tailed thief operated; never go in unprepared. Tonight's contract was going really smoothly, Krys was even able to snatch up a few extra pieces of jewellery to pawn off for herself. Laughing to herself softly for a job well done she went over her perfect escape trajectory in her head. Taking to the dark back alleys would be the perfect cover, especially for one who knows them like the back of her hand. Lao Sheng had always been her home and hunting grounds, from urchin to thief those alleys have always provided the perfect getaway.

Krys met with her buyer and handed them the documents they requested in exchange for the last half of her contract money. The nine-tailed thief had quite the reputation for getting the job done, efficiently and discreetly (that is if you wanted it done with discretion, she's good at making a scene if need be as well). Giving her buyer one last wink and blowing them a kiss, Krys effortlessly jumped out the window and disappeared into the shadows.

On the other end of town a man who is known by the name "Ruthless" went over some files his right hand man had dug up. According to all his sources, this thief was supposed to be the best there is, that was saying something considering Ruthless had quite the reputation as well for being Lao Sheng's one and ONLY information broker. "Ren, are these documents correct? Do you seriously think she of all people could get this done?" he asked his assistant with a cold tone in his voice. The meek and quiet man bowed his head and assured his boss that everything he could ever want to know about her was in the files. With a glare at his assistant that he had better not be wasting his time, Ruthless went over the file one more time.

Before reading on, Ruthless looked up at Ren who was standing across the office. "Why the hell do I need to know what her sexual orientation is? What is wrong with you?" The assistant fiddled with his hands nervously before answering his boss, "Well from what we can tell she's really good at umm..." Ren swallowed hard noticing his boss' sudden temperament change before continuing, "What I mean to say is that depending on the job that needs to be done, she can be incredibly... persuasive. If you need her to be that is. I swear on my life, she's the best. She'll do what needs to be done."

Ruthless liked what he was hearing from his assistant, maybe this thief would actually be the perfect fit for this job. He continued to read her file:

"Ren, get me in contact with this thief. From her file she might be the one we've been looking for." With a quick bow Ren shuffled off to alert his men to get in touch with her, whatever means possible.
