Garlic makes a sickening, wet snuffling noise and inspects you with his only functioning crimson orb as you approach him. As he rises you see his other eye is clouded over with the film of death. He grunts, the sound of a slab of raw meat hitting concrete, which is his grumpy greeting towards you. He cannot speak as his throat has rotted out ages ago but the sounds he does manage make it very clear as to his demeanor and intentions at the time. He is in no mood for visitors.
Garlic's minion Onion is his best friend but also acts as his other functioning eye. Anywhere Onion hovers to, Garlic can see as well.
Garlic also has a morbid fascination with eyeballs considering he only has one, and loves adding eyes to his treasured collection. (I recommend avoiding that treasure chest, however; it's beginning to smell.)
