Name Origin:: Apini

Honeybees are the only living members of the tribe Apini,
all in the genus Apis.
Other species of related bees produce and store honey,
but only members of Apis are TRUE honey bees.

Scientific Characteristics::
Morphology of a female worker honey bee,
head, thorax and abdomen.
Can be distinguished as female by the number of divisions on its antenna and by its sting.
A worker bee lacks the full reproductive cavity of the colony's queen bee.

Personality::
Hard worker, timid and quiet.
Spends all her time assisting Actias; maintaining his book collection.
Constantly dreams that one day, Actias will acknowledge her love for him.
Loves eating/cooking/making beauty products with her honey,
but not as much as she loves Actias.
