Roman Decurio which finds himself in a world, strange and unknown. Jamie will meet him later on with a small group of people (like Paco). Octavian feels strange to Jamie at first but both will become friends and Jamie will see some kind of older brother in Octavian.

Octavian seems to come from another time but actually was cloned from DNA found by very technical advanced humans and the memory he still has are some kind of genetical memories from the person he was cloned from.

In his former "life" he lost his beloved Eliana who was killed by Germanic babarians and his illegitimate son was taken by the babarians to raise him as their own. Octavians Beloved was the women of a Centurio she only married cause she was forced to by her parents. She never loved Gaius Marcellus Nerva and often met Octavian in secret which resulted in her to becoming pregnant with Tavi's child. Nerva was a tyrant and even while Eliana pretended that Titus was Nerva's son the man knew that the boy was not his.
The leader of the Babarians was risen with Octavian in Rome but betrayed the Romans and killed the love of Octavian. Tavi saw him as a brother but the betray turns this love into deep hatred and he wants to get his son back, desperatly trying to free him from the Babarians.

The memories of his past often haunt Tavi and somtimes he simply sits silently loosing himself in this memories, mourning his lost love and son.

Octavian is an unexcpected friendly and kind person.
