MsEmma woke up and thought "This is my big day"
Ever since she was little Emma dreamed about this day and it had finally arrived. Emma was a dreamer and always thought about helping young people who didn't have all the best things in life like she did. Emma loved music because it always made her feel happy and when she was down in the dumps it lifted her spirits.
Emma was driven to school when she was a young child. On her way to her private school she passed this run-down school where the kids didn't have anything to play with...she watched while the children, dressed in tattered clothes, just hung around in small groups. She thought to herself "I'm going to help this school someday."
Time went on and Emma went to great schools and when she was done with her schooling Emma became a world famous Conductor. Through all this she never forgot about the little school. She went back to that little school and it was in worse condition than she remembered. The children who attended this school had no interest in anything. Emma got some instruments and started teaching the children herself. She could see day by day how the children started caring about things and became fine musicians.
She wanted to let these children show their talents so she pulled a few strings and got the children a chance to play at Carnegie Hall. This was the day she was waiting for, although the children were nervous their nerves settled and they performed brilliantly. Emma was so proud of her students and the concert goers could not believe that these children came from the run-down school in the slums.
This just goes to show that music comes from the heart and lifts the soul.
