The year is 2256. Humanity has now fought a total of 7 world wars, and the population has been devastated. There had to be a solution to this problem, another world war could very easily wipe out all of humanity. Thus, the ACRONYM was created, to allow countries to violently settle their disputes without loss of human life. In AKIS the country's top gamers wage wars; graphics have progressed to the point that these wars could very easily be real, if they were not being fought on a computer screen. Touchpads replaced guns, keys replaced grenades, and gamers became heros.
