"First and foremost, do no harm..." The words echo around you, the thick Scottish accent filling your ears as the doctor glides across his infirmary, caring for patient after patient.

Later, in what is known to us as a Puddle Jumper, that same doctor accompanies his team on a mission. On the way back, he recalls his pets--a couple of turtles he'd bought:
"Ma turtles!!" the thick Scottish voice breaks the dead silence, causing everyone on board the ship, including the woman in charge of the mission (Dr. Weir) to look up with befuddled looks on their faces. What could he be talking about?
"What?" The woman is startled out of her focused state by the doctor's exclamation.
"I'd just bought some wee turtles and nobody knows to feed 'em! See, I figured I'm back full time so why not get a pet? But I'm allergic to cats and I'm at work far too long to be fair to a dog, so I went with turtles," The doctor explains, a look of concern on his face as he remembers that he's left his new pets at home with nobody instructed on caring for them in his absence.
"Turtles are hearty, they'll probably be fine," Dr. Weir assures Dr. Beckett, her eyes full of compassion.
"And they make good soup too!" the tall man with messy dark hair, whom had apparently been trusted to fly this contraption, spoke up in a teasing tone."Rodney, are you almost DONE?!" the same pilot (Col. John Sheppard) calls back to another man who appears to be frantically tapping the screen of his tablet computer.
"I'm working AS FAST AS I CAN!" the man at the back of the ship (Dr. Rodney McKay) looks up, giving Sheppard the familiar McKay glare.
"I've probably killed them. Poor little buggers," Dr. Beckett's accent thickens as a brief look of sadness comes across his face. The poor baby turtles...would he get home in time to save them? Who knew.

Lines taken from an episode of Stargate Atlantis...sort of. I'm not sure I got them word for word...
