Ethnicity: Caucasian, heritage comes from France and Germany.
Mori is somewhat of a spiteful person, though not fully intentionally. His scarred past- being reincarnated as a demon- has left him brutal and unemotional.

At first.

Mori, though extremely distrustful and malevolent to strangers, has a warm heart deep inside of him. While very accepting to people who treat him with genuine kindness and respect, Mori can turn like a whip upon someone who does not. He takes a while to build a relationship but can shatter it in a split-second, making it increasingly harder to find a companion besides his "family" and hummingbird, Razzle.

History

Morrison was born to a poor Pennsylvanian family during the Great Depression. Different from the normal abusive situation, it was his mother who beat him at every corner, while his father left him and his only sibling when Mori was 7. Through everything he suffered, from making friends to pleasing his drunkard mother enough for her to let him be for just one more night. Of course times were tough, and Mori's mother could never afford anything- between her drinking and gambling- for Mori or his sister, Isabelle. He was ridiculed for being the poorest kid in school, and it pained him. He had no release. Feeling completely lost, Mori resorted to suicide.

Looking back on it, Mori never regretted throwing himself in front of the car.

Just a dream

Between you and me, Mori's a favorite of mine. He's been here at the complex since day one-- my first tenant, actually-- and is a good friend. That isn't to say he's entirely, erm... sane, or anything. No, old Morrison is quite a bit quirky. Very nice most of the time, but every now and again he goes off on tangents about his past and family and such. Would be normal, I suppose, save for the fact that he claims to have been reborn. I am not a very religious person, so I don't put too much stock in it. Still, it's quite strange.
That said, he is good with the kids in the complex. Douglas, Johnny and Leelya all adore him, and he is a wonderful guardian figure to them as he works from home and has more time to spend with them than their own parents.
