Cerises has made her home on the moon. One day, while hanging out with her sister Shadow, she noticed a small cooler on the floor. “What’s that?” Cerises questioned. “Some of my leftover food,” answered Shadow, referencing the 6 month journey to visit her kin. “Can I have some?” asked Cerises gleefully. “I haven’t had real food since I was a Common Kanis!!” She quickly dug in.

“Oh,” she mumbled suddenly. “What’s that?” Following her sister’s gaze, Shadow noticed Cerises was staring straight into a pile of fruit. “Those are cherries,” she replied crinkling her nose. “I don’t like them very much, but Mom made me bring some.” Those too were quickly stuffed into Cerises’ mouth. The second they entered her eyes grew quite wide. “Oh,” she said again, swallowing so she could speak. “Where can I get some more?” Her eyes sparkled with delight.
