Archer is a person who can't feel pain because of a birth affect. Archer spent his childhood in a clinic and in a strait jacket to keep him from hurting himself. There he learned with other kids like him. In the clinic the kids get an education, learn basic combat skills and how to take care of their unfeeling bodies. He was one of the lucky few who came out with a some what stable mind intact. The lucky few, like Archer (or not so lucky), go into extensive and more intense combat training and survival drills. Archer now works for a group of people who are trying to rescue trapped civilians and control the chaos on a zombie infested island.

Archer has many scars on his lips from chewing on them and one mech eye from when he was a child where he gouged his eye out with his big toe because he wasn't watched carefully enough. The eye doubles as a lazer sight(without the lazer- Gawd I can't remember for the life of me what they're called.) and gives him updates on his health so he doesn't kill himself by bleeding to death. Archer knows nothing of pain but constantly feels the internal pain of being different.
