Kensel certainly embodies that quote. He perceives himself a benevolent landlord of a rather large cave overlooking Veta Lake. Every so often his rather large tenant leaves more gold trinkets and coins for Kensel as his payment for rent. The reality is, the great Red Rreign of Veta Lake lives in this cave, and simply hasn't bothered to complain about the numerous rabble of wyllops living with him.
The wyllops seem to keep the place rather pest free (if one doesn't consider the rodents themselves as pests) and clean from leaves or other debris that finds its way into their home.
