Story
Important facts: Nobody knows exactly where Alyosha comes from. There are rumours claiming that he’s not from this earth, but those rumours might be linked with his unearthly beautiful singing voice. However, there are some strange things about Alyosha, like his light-reflecting eyes and the wings that sometimes sprout from his back (though not many people have witnessed this at all). Fact is that Alyosha is the best singer Asfalot met. Especially his throat-singing is unique and immediately fascinates anyone who is able to listen to it. Which was the reason why Asfalot contracted him after hearing him on one of his business trips to Mongolia. Alyosha was in a very bad condition at this time and dependent on help, otherwise he wouldn’t have left his country. He had a hard time settling in his new surroundings and disliked singing for Asfalot’s crowd. But he was able to regenerate, with only small imperfections reminding of his rough times. With time he found friends despite his shy and secluded nature, and with them a reason to sing with joy again. With Archibaldo, he’s searching for old Mongolian songs and stories and on his journeys to Mongolia, he’s learning many different new techniques. His concerts are very popular, but very rare as Asfalot likes to keep his treasures mostly to himself and Alyosha prefers to sing before a smaller crowd. In the little free time that Alyosha allows himself, he prefers the presence of his numberous black cats, with which he seems to have found some way of communication, or of Archibaldo, who then reads stories to him.
