Fighting style: Focuses on her speed and strength. Ria prefers to lash out with all her strength and speed very early on in battle to get the upperhand. However, she has trouble defending herself. That's why she wishes to end the battle as soon as possible. She shows no mercy in battle and will strike hard until her enemy falls, but will not push things after. Despite her aggressive and merciless nature in battle, she is not sadistic and will not let pride prevent her from running when winning is impossible.

Ria prefers physical attacks and close combat, but she does know a few light spells, which is a bit strange considering most nightmare pets prefer dark spells. Ria picked up light spell as a glacier pet, before she was nightmare, and refused to drop them or pick up dark spells. She only knows a weak healing spell and a medium-powered offensive spell. She rarely uses spells in battle though.



Minion: Solace is Ria's pet and assistant, having relative knowledge on various magical objects due to his time with her. Helps calm Ria down when she's upset and also helps take care of her when she becomes too absorbed in her work, such as when she forgets to eat or sleep. His brothers are owned by Shadowpuff and Rexia.


Bio: Melodious first met Ria in the bone-chilling depths of the Arctic Frost. Melodious and Rexia were trudging back after another failed expedition for Polar Water when a silly blunder caused the two to stray off the main path. Ria was one of the celinox on Frost Patrol, checking for lost wanderers, and managed to come across Melodious and Rexia before the frost became damaging. However, on the way back, they came across a young-adult Mush that decided to attack. While Ria displayed notable speed and strength in trying to fend off the Mush, she was knocked aside in a single hit. Luckily, Rexia managed to bound into action, despite her insecurities in fighting, and managed to distract the Mush long enough for Melodious to get ahold of Ria.

Rexia suffered minimal damage to one wing, but Ria earned a bloody gash on her side. Luckily, the group wasn't too far from the toasty town of Arctic Frost and managed to get Ria to a local healer in time. Rexia and Melodious visited Ria as she healed, though Rexia practically visited everyday. Out of gratefulness and a liking for Rexia, Ria requested to join Melodious, who quickly accepted.

Ria actually has no memory of her life since she became part of the Frost Patrol. Despite having no knowledge, she confidently lives her life, trying to have some purpose in her life. She becomes irritated and restless without direction or goals. At the moment, her work involves trying to find unorthodox uses for various components for spells, often resulting in a lot of risky, open-ended experimentation, but she's always careful to take precautions, even if it ends in a burn or two. She used to be a darkmatter pet, which provided some form of dark energy for experimentation, but she quickly dropped the project when she started hearing disturbing voices, realizing she was messing with something she shouldn't. The voices have stopped since changing colors, but sometimes she's have dreams of becoming corrupted, which she only confides in with Melodious.

While she's being ambitious, she becomes a bit single-minded and has a hard time taking other into consideration, though she wouldn't badly insult of harm innocents. However, when she's distracted with work or experiments, she becomes dismissive and blunt with her words, not wanting to really talk until she's done. She can be aggressive though and is quick to snap at others. Because of that, it's sometimes hard to get close to Ria. Additionally, Ria doesn't like to talk about herself and especially about her past. Her pride prevents her from letting others help her with finding her memory and her past purpose.

Despite her cold traits, she's usually pretty considerate of others. Just don't expect any favors or forced cheeriness. She's very loyal to her friends, though, and doesn't need to be super kind to show it. She'd put down whatever she's working on to help a friend. She's very loyal and protective of her friends because there's really no such thing as acquaintances to her. You're either a friend or not. She's a bit more accepting and slightly more open with Melodious' other pets than with anyone else. She's a bit closer to Sitar and Rexia out of all the other pets.

�Has an interest in spells and magical items, though she prefers to observe their properties and conduct small experiments to fulfill her curiosity rather than use them properly.
�Despite the fact that Shadowpuff is the main battler, she still wants to train. She wants to become stronger so that she may protect those dear to her, though she wouldn't openly admit it. Contrary to what others believe, she's not getting stronger to get back at the mush that had attacked her, Melodious and Rexia when they first met.
