All stories about creatures with supernatural abilities are epic stories about saving the world and becoming a better person. If they aren't, then it's probably a story about an creature consumed by their ability unable to do good with it. The bad stories usually end up with the villain dead by the hands of someone with abilities used for the good. It comes down to big stories that follow a certain pattern and end up pretty cliché. No one writes stories about those with abilities who chose to not change the world with a broadway stage under need their feet and with spots highlighting their every move.

I'm going to tell you about a few fragments of the life of an ordinary, but not quite so ordinary #870.

The failure that created the #870 was a big success for Euclid, happy as he was he went off and tried to recreate it a couple hundred more times to keep up with the demand. A huge queue was forming outside his lab with loads of inpatient subetans. So Euclid tried to speed things up. But this is Euclid, if you are trying to recreate a mistake... it's possible even your mistake goes to wrong way. That's how things go, certainly if you are Euclid and only make money by making mistakes. Bigger and bolder the mistake, more successful it gets. Euclid placed the pet of the next person in row under need his zapper: Aimsi the common feli but his return to the owner was rather awkwardly. All colour vanished from Annemie her face when Euclid walked silently in the room holding a black #870 instead of a blue/red chimera.

"Is...that..." Annemie didn't get to finish her sentence because the #870 took a big leap from Euclid his arms straight into her owners.
"Yes, I'm terribly sorry about what went wrong with your Feli. If your pet would notice any side effects please call my help desk."
"Notice any side effects? Is my pet supposed to just tell me 'Hey human, excuse me but my eye socked isn't sitting well and I feel like my right horn isn't sitting on the wrong spot of my skull?' SHE IS A CAT EUCLIDE, WHAT DO YOU EXPECT" and the angry redhead stormed out of Euclid his office smashing with the door on her way out.
