Vaiiel, the Eternal Father

Vaiiel
Vaiiel was born Julian Feir not too long after the Angelic experiments were first instituted. His produced no outward effect, and he escaped entirely on his own. Of course, this was just when the Experiments had first begun, so the effects were not as pronounced and in his specific case, would not take effect until after he died. The irony is that Vaiiel's unique case caused the scientists to begin the Graveyard experiments, none of which have yet succeeded quite like Vaiiel's. Anyway, he ran off, travelled around, joined the Organization Mama's a part of and eventually met a woman named Jade. Jade Marine. The name stuck with him and before long, Julian and Jade were a married pair and Jade would soon give birth. Then the Church caught up with him and killed him, an event which he later comments as "painful and required many band-aids". Jade tried to live without her husband and gave birth to a son, Ailell, and Vaiiel's former partner retired herself from active duty 2 years later. Ailell was five when the Church took him away for the Nightmare Experiments. Jade vanished.
However, when Vaiiel died, he was brought to Alfheim as an angel- baptized into their ranks as a Nephilim thanks to the experiments. It wasn't easy- they called him a fake angel at first, in fact- but his charismatic nature eventually won most of his superiors over, earning him two epithets- "Cosmic Smartass" (from the even higher-ups) and "Heaven's Revolver" (for his quick, brutal fighting style).
Since you already know what the Angelic experiments are (and if you don't, Nielo's profile has an explanation of them) I'm going to take this space to discuss Vaiiel's partner, Raziel. Raziel is an angel who manages all the mysteries of the world and is actually one of the 7th Circle Angels- he prefers to take orders, however, so he demoted himself to being Vaiiel's partner. He exists as a Talim most of the time as he prefers that form but he also has a human form like Vaiiel's. He likes to ride on Vaiiel's shoulder and can be ordered to attack at any time.
Since his death, Vaiiel's devoted himself to tutoring his former partner's son, Nielo, in the ways of the Angelic kingdom's first circle, Alfheim. Though like all angels his has a mechanoid appearance, due to his high standing he can take a human form and descend to Earth as he wishes to help anyone he desires. His goals are basically to teach Nielo the basics of being an angel, to help as many people as he can and finally, to enjoy his afterlife in any way he wishes.
Hobby-wise, Vaiiel seems to be a coffee connoisseur and an enthusiast of cooking in general with a bit of favoritism towards cakes and assorted pastries. In his spare time, he runs a cafe called "Lieu De Repos" or "Place of Rest". It's a warm place and usually, you'll find other angels lurking there. Employees are encouraged to dress however they like within certain constraints- Vaiiel maintains a vast costume room containing meido-style uniforms, lolita dresses and assorted other costume bits, and all are encouraged to take on a sort of character to play pretend for a bit if they like- they can also just be themselves, though the costumes do make things more fun. Viktoria works here as well, usually dressed in a slightly more masculine version of the meido uniform in orange.
Vaiiel has a fairly normal apartment not too far off from Nielo's place in Centropolis. It's decorated in neutral colors and with soft, plushy furniture. Vaiiel won't admit it but he has something of a knack for interior decorating. If he had his way, though, he'd probably live in Delphi Beach, since he and his wife planned to live there one day with their son, Ailell.
