Aspen is a being of Death. He is one that destroys. He is the embodiment and source of the carrion and decomposition that litter the wood. He is in perpetual discord with his foil, Ivory, the source of Life. He manifests in the form of a blackened-bark tree (notably not an Aspen tree). Roots that stretch out into the dirt and a trunk twelve foot wide.

He is not a villain. He exists as his purpose demands. His goal is balance. He takes pride in his work but seldom does he overreach. He cleans up the messes that the other leaves and buries them for no one to see.
