Such imperfection in human design

"Attention to detail" is a trait that's too often strived for these days. There comes a time where you begin to notice too many of said details. At this point, too many things begin to look like a facade. The demon paints her talons red to hide the blood, and one can only feign ignorance for so long. But surely, you've heard this all before?

My mentor instructed me to go to the biggest providence in North Genobia. Galavad. I was told that something was amiss in the grand city to the east of this place. Galavad was known for having good drinks and bad girls, a heaven for any pervert. But had I had known that I would have been walking into hell, I would have offered up prayers and begged for the angels to save me.

But if life has to change, why must it be mine?

When I think about it, I'm not entirely sure what I'm supposed to be doing here. I would be getting off lucky if it were as simple as watching a bad reality show of two families going at each other's throats. But the anima here aren't afraid to drag you down with them. Even the damn dog will get involved if given the chance. I personally haven't decided if I'd rather be bitten or whipped into submission yet.
