Have you ever loved someone so much, your heart painted its likeness in your soul, with colors as vivid as the sun?
I love art: to draw, to sketch, to paint, to create a world of light and sound and smell and taste with my brush. My heart sings for color, for each lovely, beautiful, wonderful shade, and every memory each piece represents. May I show you? Step inside, please - my loft is your loft!
Takado grew up in the Adoption Agency, abandoned there too young to remember his original family. From a very early age, he impressed his caretakers with his artistic skill and generous spirit. He loved to create works of art, whether with crayons on construction paper, finger paint on cardboard, colored dough on the shelf, or even ketchup and mustard on his sandwich bread. He wasn't bothered if his pieces got destroyed, and would happily paint pictures for the other children knowing the works would probably get lost or trampled; even so, he always gave his most prized paintings to the teachers, and was immensely happy to see them hang behind the desks.
As he grew, his style developed as well; by the end of primary school, he'd long since chosen his favorite medium (acrylic paint), his favorite tool (his own tail), and his favorite canvas (anything and everything where the art would stick). He volunteered eagerly for community clean-up projects, theater set design, and any other project he might be able to use his skills; his art ended up on the walls of community centers, nursing homes, churches, schools, and of course his own room at the Agency. And when he was finally adopted out to the Apathetic household, he immediately chose a room in the attic, loving the open, clean canvas and interesting shapes. Riley and Roiyl set to work installing wide windows to let in the sun, quickly covered in tissue paper and paint to cast a brilliant rainbow of colors, and Takado's Loft was born.
