Mispa sat at her desk, reading one of her many spellbooks. Her zombie kitten was repeatedly walking into the leg of Mispa's chair, arms stretched straight out in front of it. Mispa reached down, not looking, and grabbed it's head, turning it around. It wandered out the door, moaning "Meeeooow," as it left.

Mispa looked up suddenly. A spider was making a web between the flowers in the vase she had on her desk. She watched as it weaved the delicate fibers.

Once it finished, it settled in the middle of the web. Mispa looked back down at her book, feeling an odd sense of peace.
