Kharg is half-Tengu, a Japanese crow demon.

Arconite: Arcnite is a sirin, which is like the Russian version of the Greek siren, only with birds parts instead of mermaids. Hes very narcissistic and has a huge knowledge of plant uses, both healing and poison. His name is the name of a poisonous flower, Monk's Hood. "Pretty but dangerous, just like me," is how he sees it. Arconite is a descendant of the sirins, but may be part human only because all the original sirins were female. This may be why he lives alone away from other sirins.

Arconite found Kharg collapsed and nearly frozen to death in the snowy wastes of Russia. He takes him and heals him up..only to show off what he can do, not because he actually cared to help him. Also because he was wondering why a mythic bird from Japan was doing so far away in Russia.
