Shannan Ponton is a personal trainer in Australia and is one of the trainers on The Biggest Loser. He is the trainer of Team Blue and one of the kindest.

He has been on The Biggest Loser Australia since 2007 and has trained Team Blue for a total of nine seasons.Shannan's main quote is: “I train the same way I live – with respect, integrity, physical and mental discipline. My training philosophy is as it is in life – hard but fair."

Outside of The Biggest Australia Loser, he has his own personal training business and is a international presenter. 2014 was a hard year for him with injuries and ill health. He had three shoulder surgeries, whooping cough and cortisone injections into his spine which tested him to the limit.He is married with two kids and lives in Sydney, Australia.
