Former queen of Tredaya who passed away about 6 years ago due to complications while giving birth to her daughter. Just before her death, she passed the royal crown and the throne's entire rulership solely to her husband, King Archibald, in an act which stirred up quite a bit of controversy throughout the kingdom. This was due to the well-known fact that the young man had only been married into his prestigious title of King in the first place. Tredaya's subjects were all too aware of Archibald's ignoble upbringing-- he was born and raised within a peasant farming family whose many generations of ancestors had lived and worked in the barren fields of the kingdom's outskirts. A family whose gnarled family tree and its network of crooked and tangled branches contained not even a single twig of royal ancestry.
Georgiana broke a lot of strict traditions, pulled a ton of strings, risked losing her place in the throne's line of succession, and almost got completely excommunicated by her parents (the former king and queen) all in the name of "true love" and the right to marry her commoner paramour. Fortunately, after much debate among the royal court and Tredaya's subjects, eventually Georgiana and her low-class suitor were (albeit reluctantly) allowed to be wed.
Thus, Archibald-- the son of a poor farmer with zero royal blood flowing through his veins-- was bestowed the title of Prince of Tredaya and adopted into the prestigious and extravagant world of royalty.
However, it was quickly apparent that the infamy surrounding the new noble's plebeian background would continue to be a sharply divided topic throughout the kingdom, and a controversy forever condemned to relentless lashings of fiery criticism and debate.
While Archibald was well aware that Georgiana would be next to inherit the throne and become Queen (and by extent, promote him to King), he always assumed that she would ultimately be the one taking the reigns to the kingdom's rulership. He on the other hand, the unexperienced newcomer, would keep his kingship duties low-key and quiet, playing the lesser involved role of supporting advisor to his wife and her many queenly responsibilities and decisions. It was a job in which he had been completely content with taking on someday, and one that he had grown confident he would be able handle.
Little did he expect, however, of the earth-shattering setback that would find him thrust into the position of complete and total rulership over the kingdom of Tredaya, now as its one-and-only sole monarch. An abrupt and numbing blow that would leave his coveted dreams of a future rulership alongside his wife, filled nothing but happiness and saccharine success, smashed beyond recognition.

so yeah Georgiana is dead but due to leaving behind a ton of calamity in her wake, which racked her up with a lot of unfinished business to see through, she willingly chooses not to let her soul cross over into eternal light. instead, she opts to stay behind and allows herself to be trapped within limbo until her family's many troubles come to a resolve-- knowing the risk that if that ultimately never happens, her spirit will be forever stuck within limbo for the rest of eternity.
On a more positive note, due to her unyielding selflessness in life and now even in death, she is granted the privileged role of a Guardian Angel (her soul confined to limbo and all potential risks still applicable, of course) in order to watch over her struggling husband and growing daughter. her spirit is allowed to wander throughout the halls of Tredaya's castle whenever it pleases, but she hangs around mostly when her family is going through some kind of significant event or hardship. of course no one can see her and she is forbidden from interacting with living people, but that doesn't stop her from occasionally leaving behind ambiguous little signs for her husband to notice-- tiny bits of invaluable clues to give the tenderfooted king an indirect push in the right direction whenever he especially needs it.
