•Walking though the forest, a fellow trainer spots you. They run up to you as you sigh to yourself.

•The fight is on!

•You send out Nincada. The other trainer sends out a Poochyena.

•You use Leech Life and drain the Poochyena of its health while healing your Nincada.

•It's super effective!

•The other trainer commands their Poochyena to use Bite, which does little damage.

•You tell Nincada to use Leech Life again! This time you drain the last bit of health from the Poochyena and it faints.

•Thank goodness, that was their only pokemon. The trainer pays you for your time, but then you notice your Nincada starts to glow.

•It's evolving!

•After a few moments it stops and you check your pokedex to see it's become a Ninjask!

•You're happy to see your little bug grow and you walk off to continue your journey. But little did you know...... you left someone behind.

•Someone who had been there the whole time... but you never realized it.

•Shedinja, the shed exoskeleton of Nincada, was a living thing and you didn't know it!

•You walked away and left it behind, not knowing what it was or that it had feelings.

•Shedinja slowly floats up and watches you walk away, unmoving but not unfeeling. Shedinja clings to a nearby tree.

•Feeling you may return it does not wish to leave the area. So there it sits... clinging to the tree... awaiting your return....... forever.
