We all have that person that touched our lives in such a way that they helped make us who we are today.
She was a fighter. She lite up every room. She had the smile of a lifetime. And a laugh that was contagious.
She held my hand and walked with me through some of my toughest times. She told me stories, wiped away tears, chased the monsters, and helped me fill the air with all kinds of laughter.
She had a loving touch and a firm hand when needed. She was always my first hug hello and my last hug goodbye.
She lived through her own battles, and somehow just became stronger. Nothing ever seemed to take her down.

She may have forgotten who she was, but I would always remind her.
Someday I hope we get to look back on all those memories together. Till then I'll wish she was here for just one more moment.
