Legacy Name: Cabot

- biologist & wildlife illustrator with a penchant for birds. he wants to be a full-time illustrator but there's very little demand for scientific illustration so he sticks with biologist as a primary job
- his family is very WASP-y, upper class, from Rhode Island, and extremely disapproving of his choice to do "dirty" "unambitious" work. acceptable career options growing up were mostly limited to law, finance, business, etc.
- does a lot of fieldwork in isolated parts of north america, especially northern Canada. doesn't really enjoy the fieldwork but loves being unreachable to family
- has pretty severe issues with seasonal depression and anxiety, which his family refuses to acknowledge as real
- takes a lot of meds that do a good job dealing with his mental problems, but kill his libido leaving him perpetually single
- family won't stop badgering him about when he's "find a good, smart girl and settle down in some nice place like Hartford"
