STS-134 is the twenty-fifth, and LAST, launch of the Space Shuttle Endeavor. This one is very special to me because I got to watch the launch live from Kennedy Space Center in Florida! After one delay due to weather conditions, STS-134 launched on an overcast, cloudy morning at 8:56 a.m. EDT on May 16, 2011, and landed at 2:34 a.m. EDT on June 1, 2011.

Crew; NASA astronauts Mark Kelly, commander; Gregory H. Johnson, pilot; Michael Fincke, Greg Chamitoff, Andrew Feustel and European Space Agency’s Roberto Vittori, all mission specialists.

Mission Highlights:

4 space walks.

During the 14-day mission, Endeavour delivered the Alpha Magnetic Spectrometer (AMS) and spare parts including two S-band communications antennas, a high-pressure gas tank and additional spare parts for Dextre. This was the 36th shuttle mission to the International Space Station.
