I never imagined I would go on a journey.

Content I was living among the humans, the deep longing for paradise a faint whisper overpowered by the human society I found fascinating… comforting even. For as far back I can remember, I lived side by side with a human. She kept me fed, warm, protected… loved. That alone was paradise for me.

But all things in this world are frail… I understand that now. With nothing but the bangles she gave me, I found myself suddenly alone, inexperienced, and ignorant of the cruelty of the world.

Humans always held a soft spot for me… but then… that day… I met you. You did not know me, but you helped me. You were the first wolf I had seen for as long as I could remember. You wanted nothing to do with being friends… do you remember that?

But yet you still saved me… over and over again… on our journey to paradise.

I had met the other two wolves by chance, shortly after meeting you. Hige wasn’t much different from us… but wow, Kiba, something was special about that guy. And boy, the smell! Deep down, I knew it was why I had found my way to this city… but it wasn’t until I met him… Kiba… that I just knew. I had to go with them. Even with my human disguise, I realized there was nothing left for me in that place.

Nothing except… you. I’m so glad you decided to join us.

Just like that, the four of us were on a journey. To find the Lunar Flower… To find paradise.

“I had a dream that we’d reached paradise. Oh it was so amazing! There were all these red and blue flowers blooming as far as the eye could see. And you know what? They were all Lunar Flowers! Granny was there too! And she took care of us and cooked for us and made us all kinds of delicious food.”

“Guys this is it, Paradise is right up ahead, I know it!”

I realized the world was cruel… hope and the planet itself was dying. But I never lost faith. I had you, Hige, and Kiba to guide us there. And then, we found her! We found Cheza! Isn’t she amazing? How can she make us feel so good?

And that’s not all, Blue joined us too! I know you had a hard time trusting her, but…

Human’s aren’t so bad. You just have to give them a chance. Pops was just… holding on to all he had left.

Tell Blue I’m sorry. I promised to protect Pops… but I couldn’t. But I’ll stay by his side, until they can be together again.
